RE-ADVERTISEMENT: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR NCWORKS
CENTER OPERATIONS FOR BLADEN, HOKE, RICHMOND, ROBESON, AND SCOTLAND COUNTY
The Lumber River Workforce Development Board is soliciting proposals for the following operations to be funded with Title I (B) of the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) for the period of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027:
NCWorks Career Center Operations (Bladen, Hoke, Richmond, Robeson & Scotland counties): The primary role is to ensure that services provided through the centers meet the needs of customers (business and job seeker) in an efficient and effective manner. It is critical that one-stop operations are unified with the delivery of WIOA services. In addition, the Operator provides management and oversight of the partnership of agencies that comprises the NCWorks Career Center system.

Final funding decisions will be made by the Lumber River Workforce Development Board, which reserves the right to consider the most advantageous offers and reject any and all offers. Written notification of operation selection will be provided to each entity submitting an RFP.
