The Lumber River Council of Governments (LRCOG) is requesting proposals from qualified firms for the provision of unlimited internet data hotspots services. The LRCOG is being awarded funding for the Lumber River Digital Equity Project through the NC Department of Information Technology Digital Champion Grant Program. The LRCOG is seeking a company that will provide unlimited internet data hotspots services to approximately hundred (100) to two hundred (200) internet enabled laptops that will be distributed by the LRCOG to various community-based sites through Bladen, Hoke, Richmond, Robeson, and Scotland counties.

The contract will be awarded to the person or entity that submits the best overall proposal as defined by the LRCOG. The factors to be considered by the LRCOG in awarding the contract include, but not limited to the following:
Proposal cost;Â
Overall impression of the proposal;
Durability and Warranty;
Relevant Experience and past performance;
Qualification as a Minority and Woman Owned Businesses.
