The public will take notice that the Lumber River Council of Governments (hereinafter “LRCOG”) of Pembroke, North Carolina will accept proposals for the Family Caregiver Respite Services for Fiscal Year 2023-2024, will open on Wednesday July 5, 2023 until Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. Proposals are being accepted for the following counties: Bladen, Hoke, Richmond, Robeson and Scotland. Sealed proposals should be addressed to Lumber River Council of Governments, RFP: Family Caregiver Respite Program, 30 CJ Walker Road, Pembroke, NC 28372 and may be hand delivered by the date and time due or sent by mail to the above-referenced address.
Proposals received after the above cited time will be considered a late bid and are not acceptable.
Interested parties may obtain an application of the Family Caregiver Respite Program from the below links by county or in person anytime Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., except holidays. Any contract(s) resulting from proposals received shall be awarded to the entities that submit the best overall proposal(s) as determined by the LRCOG. The following factors will be considered in awarding the contracts:
Value (quality vs. number of components);
Overall impression of the proposal;
Durability and Warranty;
Price;
Qualification as a Minority or Women‐Owned Business.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the LRCOG reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
