REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS CARGO VAN PURCHASE
The public will take notice that the Lumber River Council of Governments (hereinafter “LRCOG”) of Pembroke, North Carolina will accept proposals for the purchase of a cargo van for its home delivered meals program. Sealed proposals should be addressed to Lumber River Council of Governments, RFP: Cargo Van Purchase, 30 CJ Walker Road, Pembroke, NC 28372 and may be hand delivered by the date and time due or sent by mail to the above-referenced address.
Proposals received after the above cited time will be considered a late bid and are not acceptable.
Interested parties may obtain a complete description of the Cargo Van Purchase RFP from the LRCOG anytime between Monday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., except holidays. Any contract resulting from a proposals received shall be awarded to the person or entity that submits the best overall proposal as determined by the LRCOG. The factors to be considered in awarding the contract including the following:
1. The purchase price;
2. Overall impression of the proposal;
3. Durability and Warranty;
4. The reputation of the vendor and of the vendor’s goods or services;
5. Qualification as a Minority or Women‐Owned Business.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the LRCOG reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
