The public will take notice that the Lumber River Council of Governments’ Area Agency on Aging (hereinafter “LRCOG AAA”) of Pembroke, North Carolina seeks bids from contractors capable of providing services to Scotland County residents ages 60+ for contractual period of April 1, 2024- September 30, 2024 through the American Rescue Plan Act, until 12:00pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Services must be provided by an insured contractor who is licensed to conduct business in North Carolina. Services will include house cleaning, and/or lawn services.
Sealed proposals should be addressed to Lumber River Council of Governments’ Area Agency on Aging, Attn. Scotland County Chore Services, 30 CJ Walker Road, Pembroke, NC 28372 and may be hand delivered by the date and time due or sent by mail to the above-referenced address. The packet is available by following the link below. Any contract resulting from proposals received shall be awarded to the person or entity that submits the best overall proposal as determined by the LRCOG AAA.
Proposals received after the above cited time will be considered a late bid and are not acceptable.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the LRCOG reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
