Now Hiring - Workforce Development Accounting Clerk

The Lumber River Council of Governments, a regional planning and service agency serving Bladen, Hoke, Richmond, Robeson and Scotland Counties, is seeking an accounting clerk for its workforce division. This position assists in maintaining accounts, general fiscal records, and official minutes and documents for the Lumber River Council of Governments Workforce Development Division. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or an equivalent field; or Associate’s degree in accounting, business, or finance and three years of accounting or human resource management experience. Must be able to pass a background check, possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  This position is time-limited through June 30, 2026, but may be extended past that time based upon funding availability.
