Now Hiring - Career Liaison Coordinator

The Lumber River Council of Governments, a regional planning and service agency serving Bladen, Hoke, Richmond, Robeson and Scotland counties, is seeking a Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Career Advisor Liaison Coordinator. The individual helps connect customers with career resources, coordinate advising appointments, and ensure smooth communication in coordinating, referring and conducting services for adult, dislocated workers and youth to participate in the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) program for the Workforce Development Division.

The position is part-time time-limited and will currently end no later than June 30, 2027. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong communication and customer service skills. Organizational and time‑management abilities. Familiarity with office software. Ability to operate office equipment (scanners, copiers, printers). Must be able to pass a background check, possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
