Employment Opportunity- Accounting Clerk

The Lumber River Council of Governments, a regional planning and service agency serving Bladen, Hoke, Richmond, Robeson and Scotland counties, is seeking an Accounting Clerk. The accounting clerk assists in maintaining accounts and general fiscal records for the council. The position requires an associate’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or an equivalent field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance or an equivalent field. Prefer experience with governmental accounting and personnel management. Valid driver’s license is required.
