I am pleased to announce that the Lumber River Council of Governments (the LRCOG) proposes to make a total of $4,250,000 available to an eligible developer and management company for the construction and on-going management of a low-income multi-family housing complex in Fair Bluff, North Carolina.
Successful applicants will be awarded a contract for the development, construction, and on-going management of a thirty (30) to thirty-six (36) unit multi-family low-income housing complex in Fair Bluff, NC. The focus of the multi-family low income housing complex will be for low-income residents of Fair Bluff affected by flooding and damage caused by Hurricane Matthew.
Applicants should be an established low-income developer and management company with prior experience in the construction of low-income tax credit properties. Applicants must show that they have capacity to manage the program. Applicants must show prior experience of conformance with the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency’s low-income tax credit design standards.
